Their passion for the instrument, technical abilities, musical intuition, originality, and charisma is what makes a musician stand out from other musicians.
What are your dreams in your musical career?
My musical career goals include reaching millions of people with my original music, performing live in front of large audiences, touring with a band, continuing to write and record my own original music, and above all doing what I love.
What would your top 3 tips be to succeed as a musician?
Practice, work ethic and always continuing to improve yourself.

Do you have a daily regimen in music learning?
I am always seeking out new techniques and new books where I can learn and improve my playing. I feel like it is important to constantly challenge myself with new techniques. I have a very rigorous practice regimen where I will practice 10 hours a day on anything from scales in permutations, pentatonix, sweep arpeggios, chords, tapping etc. One of my favorite things to do is spend one day on a particular technique and focus on it for the day.

Art and music are the antidote for life!!
How has your musical taste changed over the years?
I initially enjoyed listening to the Beatles and now I enjoy all music. I have gained the ability to appreciate quality music and discern the subtleties of each genre and why each should be respected.
How long have you been involved with music?
For the past 10 years. I began taking guitar lessons and navigating YouTube videos for more learning. Then I took classes at my local college and then continued my learning from Berklee Online. After several professors encouraged me to audition for the Berklee College campus, I did in August of 2019 and was awarded a Full Scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music.
Do you play for any bands? Who? Did you join/form them?
I was part of a cover band in Richmond Virginia for several years. Currently I want to join an established touring band and create one of my own!!

Have you composed any songs/albums?
Yes! I have one instrumental that is currently available for purchase and listening to on Bandcamp under Sacra Victoria. I am also in the process of writing an album.

My favorite musicians are Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Stump, Michael Romeo, Paul Gilbert, Michael Angelo Batio, Rusty Cooley, Shawn Lane, Guthrie Govan, Paganini, Richie Blackmore, James Moody and my favorite bands include: Led Zeppelin, Scorpions and Rainbow
How do you get inspired to make music?
Almost any life event or experience can inspire me to write music or play music.
What are the responsibilities that are subjected to you when you have a huge fan base?
Being respectful, taking time to respond to questions, engaging in social media and inspiring.
How do you see your audience? What do you want to tell them and what do you expect from them?
Most of my audience includes people from around the world who either play the guitar or just enjoy music. I really appreciate receiving feedback on my original music and videos that I produce. It really inspires me to continue to compose and record more music.

Where do you think rock n’ roll is today and where is it going?
I think Rock N Roll is pervasive throughout time and will always be present in some form or another. Rock N Roll has such an impact on society from guiding fashion trends to social media to one’s attitude. Rock N Roll is not just a genre of music but a way of expressing yourself.
What are some of the challenges as a musician, especially a female musician?
My experience in the music industry has been a very positive one. I have been embraced and treated as an equal by the shred community. They are extremely respectful of my skills!
What challenges does the music industry still face?
Like many industries, new opportunities arise, and ways music can be heard and appreciated. From records to tapes to online streaming, the industry continues to navigate the waters of technology. I don’t know where it will be ten years from now but I am looking forward to being a part of this industry.
What do you think of pop music? Would you consider some of today's music in the rock charts as pop?
Yes, I feel rock is a part of many genres of music including pop.
Do you ever receive sexist comments in your social media? If so, how do you treat them?
No I have not! My audience has been incredibly respectful of my skills!
When and where were you born and raised?
I was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I have also lived in Los Angeles for several years and Boston for a year. I currently live in Nashville TN.
Aside from music, what studies and jobs do you have or have had in the past?
When I was 13-14 years old, I worked as a fashion designer and seamstress briefly.
What are some of your hobbies (obviously apart from music)?
I also enjoy art! I love designing, painting guitars, and making clothing.
How did you discover your musical talent and passion?
I played guitar hero when I was 12 years old and fell in love with the music and the idea of performing in front of an audience, even though it was a digital audience.
How can music change the world?
Music is an integral part of the human life experience from social gatherings to personal experiences to cathartic release. It can be a chant, or a full symphony but will always make an impression on our humanity!
Does it sound scary to choose music as a career?
Not for me! Music as a career offers so many opportunities. It allows me to express my creativity in my art on my albums, covers, hand painting my guitars, music allows me to perform in front of audiences and connect with people. I don’t think you could ever get bored in this industry. There are so many different avenues you can pursue.
